Brittany

Emerald Waters

Do you like a beach? More important, do your kids like a beach? Mine do. Brittany has miles of them. Wide ones, muddy ones, picturesque ones…generally with low surf, too, perfect for littler kids.

Prehistory

Brittany is also chock-full of major Neolithic sites – Carnac being the most famous, but by far not the only one. Menhirs (single standing stones) and Dolomens (roofed stone structures) still dot the landscape. This was Celtic land, after all, more so since Brittany got its name from the invasions of indigenous Britains who flex the Saxon invasion in the 5th century.

Natural Beauty

Take a boat ride. Explore an island. Buy your kids some bowls with their names on them. Visit Mont St. Michel. This place is a family playground, where you can do a lot -- or not much at all, but still feel like you've done something special.

Connects With:

Brittany is remote -- you'll probably fly into Paris. Visit Loire Valley or Normandy on the drive over.

Algorithms don't lie - but sure, try again!
