Switzerland

A Big Little Country

Just as there are "Venice of the ____" all over Europe, so too are there areas in every country that compare themselves to Switzerland. Again, there's no comparison: the Swiss Alpine scenery is spectacular.

Go South

The German and French parts of Switzerland get most of the travel attention, but spare some time for the Italian Ticino area. It has three great towns (Bellinzona, Lugano, Locarno), and really has the best of both countries.

Thriving Economy

Switzerland is clean, efficient, and safe. And very, very pretty. The only downside? The Swiss are so sensible that their currency, the Franc, is highly sought after internationally. That is: be prepared for exchange rate sticker shock.

Connects With:

Switzerland's central location and convenient connections means you can get just about anywhere. Short drives or train rides away are:

The Romantic Road

Bavaria

Black Forest

Tuscany

Venice

Algorithms don't lie - but sure, try again!
